What is CTET?
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) twice a year and after qualifying the Test,
candidates will be eligible to appointment as teachers in classes’ I-VIII.
There
are two CTET test papers in the exam, that is, Paper-l and Paper Il.
Candidates
who plan to teach classes’ I-V need to give Paper- I
Candidate
who plan to teach classes VI-VIII need to take Paper-II.
Candidates
who plan to teach class’s I-VIII need to take both of papers.

the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, will CTET 2024 exam be postponed?
· April
6: CTET
application form correction facility was scheduled to end on March 26. However,
the window for application correction is still open.
· March 23: Over 30 lakh candidates have
applied for CTET July 2020 exam despite the fact that the application fee was
increased
this
year.

CTET
Exam Eligibility
· Candidates should pass 10+2 with
minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks in order to be qualified for appointment as
a primary stage teacher.
· Candidates should clear graduation with
minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 per cent aggregate
marks in order to be qualified for appointment as an elementary stage
teacher.
·Candidates should complete the
prescribed teacher training programmes/teacher education courses
